A project practitioner career spanning over twenty years, starting in architecture but mostly in financial services, running strategic projects including business acquisitions, new product developments, credit cards, marketing campaigns and a wholesale finance project with a value of £2.5bn. In addition, a brief spell in mobile telecoms projects, delivering a new service offering.
This practical experience was followed by a fourteen-year academic career, which included curriculum design and delivery for both undergraduate and post graduate courses in project management at Leeds Beckett University. Collaborated with Cambridge University to develop the curriculum for a level 3 project management course for the Department of Education in Egypt.
Holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and Fellowship of the Association for Project Management. Passionate about training and education in project management, now working alongside colleagues to design and deliver engaging project and risk management training and apprenticeship courses to individuals and organisations.
