Callum came into the role to support Future Operational as a planner, which was no easy task given the challenge of a very complex program (once made up of 42 projects) with multiple releases, numerous teams, and many dependencies with other programs. In managing the plan, he built strong relationships with stakeholders and other planners, even when information wasn’t always forthcoming, and when they could be difficult to work with. Not many have been able to build a relationship with this planner, but Callum put in the effort to build trust, which allowed him to discuss the plans and dependencies effectively. Callum is very personable, which helps him build relationships with most people, but he is also technical enough to challenge when necessary. He remains calm under pressure. He supported a number of planning workshops with up to 60 people contributing at a time, which is a great skill to have.
