Current responsibilities: Andy is one of the three Directors at PL Projects. He is currently acting as the sponsor for the development of our Quality Management System, heads up the risk management training and consultancy unit and is a leading member of the working group on professional standards and development.  

Personality and experience: Andy has 30 years’ experience working within various infrastructure, finance and IT programmes, with roles ranging from chain lad to  programme change, risk and commercial director. 

Andy is an experienced professional with strong people skills. He can quickly adapt to working with different employees, stakeholders and clients. He values supporting and developing of our people along with leading knowledge transfer practices within our clients’ organisations. Andy is particularly skilled at bringing the principles of collaborative working to bear on achieving improvements in complex programmes.

Interests outside of work: Being with family, cycling, chess, camping and travel.

Best thing about PLP: “Every day is a school day for me. I am constantly surprised and delighted by the things our young people know that I don’t, as well as occasionally gobsmacked by some of the things they seem not to know!”
