Chris is an experienced project management professional specialising in the programme planning and PMO functions. He has worked across multiple sectors and has excellent client facing and stakeholder management skills, proven project planning expertise and a deep knowledge of project management processes including RAID, change control, cost management and data analysis.
Having had significant planning exposure on a number of major projects and in several Project Management Offices he very much operates with the mentality of ‘fail to plan, plan to fail’ and adheres to best practice models in order to achieve key deliverables and milestones.
Chris’s main expertise, whatever the programme or project, is in implementing intelligent planning for assured delivery.
Chris has worked on numerous central government projects during the past few years, predominantly for the Home Office and the MoJ in various PMO capacities. He was also the lead programme planner on the London Cycle Hire scheme and bid planner for the successful Caledonian Sleeper bid.
Previously, Chris worked on a number of minor civil and highway infrastructure projects during his time with Eurovia and William Morfoot Ltd.
Clients include Transport for London, DLRL, The Home Office, The Ministry of Justice, Balfour Beatty, Carillion, Airbus, Ringway Jacobs and ScotRail.
Chris was a highly competent planning manager, who also managed projects and procurement as required. Chris looked after a number of Highway Infrastructure projects up and down the country and assimilated vast amounts of specific project information into an Integrated Master Schedule from which the Board could effectively forecast future outputs.
Chris planned out and drove progress on a number of concurrent schemes without ever losing sight of the bigger picture. A real asset during his time here.
